Custom Domains
As a Pro publisher, you can now apply your own domain name (like YourName.com) to your Paper.li. That's right - away with the funky numbers that are hard to remember!
Applying a custom domain extends your brand presence and makes it much easier for your readers to find the news you publish. Custom domains are simple to implement and we've outlined the steps for you here.
Updated Homepage
Last fall we launched our "No app" project at Paper.li with the goal of redesigning the Paper.li site and newsstand with a responsive design. We started with the most important first, your papers, which received an overwhelmingly positive response from you.
Now we've completed the second and final phase and we're happy to announce that the entire Paper.li site, and newsstand, is 100% responsive in design.
Along with the new design comes a new look and feel and a great big hero space for us to show off you, your papers and how you're using them. Check it out.

New to Paper.li and love it and would sign up for a premium in a heart beat except for ONE issue....
ReplyDeleteWith a premium account I would like the ability to accept paid subscriptions (NO PAYPAL!). Then I can integrate it with my personal blog and maybe recover some of my worktime!
Maybe by integrating with simplified payment options like chargify, dwolla, gocardless, wepay, spreedly - which also allows one to name payment accounts according to projects (and not the account holder, to avoid confusions).
It should contain the option to allow "peak" pages (I should be able to chose how many rows of text) for public previews of content to potential subscribers with the rest of the content in locked subscription areas.
I would also want an option to add my own post or page in case there is specific content I want in my newsletter.
Please, please hurry with a subscription option!

Thanks for the suggestions and feedback on payment options. Regarding subscriptions, do you mean people pay you to sign up to your newsletter? We haven't had that request yet but I'll pass that on to the team.
On the fly article creation probably isn't something that we'll move towards. We see our strength in aggregation and easy curation, but not as a soft blogging platform. However, we do have a bookmarklet that enables you as a publisher to add your own posts manually to your paper. If you haven't checked that out yet, give it a try and let us know how that works for you.
